Prompt Engineering (Turning Prompts into Impact)

Signature Program

Participants leave with a personal AI playbook built from their own real work tasks.

Programme Positioning

A structured AI prompting workshop that helps participants think clearly, prompt intentionally, and produce outputs they can actually use at work.

The Problem We're Solving

Many people have tried AI and felt underwhelmed. The tool can produce something quickly, but not necessarily something useful.

The gap is not the model. It is the prompt and the thinking behind it.

This programme helps participants move from vague prompting to intentional prompting so AI becomes a thinking partner rather than a novelty.

Who This Is For

  • Working professionals across any function
  • Teams with low to medium AI exposure
  • People who have tried AI but do not yet trust the output enough
  • Organisations that want practical AI use, not tool worship

Programme Overview

This is a full-day experiential workshop built around structured prompting.

Participants experience the gap first, then discover the framework, then map what good prompting looks like in practice, and finally build prompts for their own real work.

The Learning Journey

The journey is designed to make the gap visible first, then give participants the structure to close it. Learners move from casual prompting into deliberate thinking, ending the day with a personal prompt playbook built from their own work.

TimeTopic
0900am - 1030amBreak the Pattern: From Type-and-Hope to Intentional Prompting

Overview
Participants compare weak and strong prompts using the same workplace task.
The contrast makes the value of structure visible before the framework is explained.
This creates the need for the rest of the workshop instead of forcing a framework too early.

Learning Outcome
- Recognise why vague prompts produce weak output.
- Explain how clearer structure changes AI response quality.
- Identify personal prompting habits that limit usefulness.
1030am - 1045amMorning Break
1045am - 1245pmPrompt Elements and Framework Discovery

Overview
Participants discover the major prompt elements and how they work together.
The framework is positioned as a thinking system, not a memorised checklist.
Learners practise seeing prompt quality through task, context, role, success, format, and language cues.

Learning Outcome
- Identify the core elements of a strong prompt.
- Understand how each element shapes the final output.
- Strengthen prompts by adding missing thinking, not just more words.
1245pm - 1400pmLunch & Prayer
1400pm - 1530pmExample Mapping and Prompt Repair Lab

Overview
Participants examine prompts across workplace contexts and diagnose what is missing or unclear.
The block builds the skill of reading prompts critically before writing new ones.
They practise repairing weak prompts and checking whether the AI output improves.

Learning Outcome
- Spot missing prompt elements.
- Improve weak prompts with clearer structure and success measures.
- Evaluate whether the improved prompt produces a more usable output.
1530pm - 1545pmEvening Break
1545pm - 1700pmPersonal AI Playbook and Application Commitment

Overview
Participants apply the framework to their own real work tasks.
The block turns the learning into prompt assets they can use after the session.
The close focuses on reflection, peer feedback, and a small application commitment after the workshop.

Learning Outcome
- Build structured prompts for real tasks.
- Leave with a personal AI playbook for immediate use.
- Commit to one practical AI-supported workflow after the session.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the programme, participants will be able to:

  • explain the difference between vague prompting and structured prompting
  • use prompt elements deliberately instead of randomly
  • apply prompting to real work tasks
  • assess AI output with clearer judgment
  • build a personal prompt playbook for day-to-day use

They will walk away with:

  • a personal AI playbook
  • a clearer way of thinking before typing
  • practical prompt structures for real tasks
  • more confidence using AI in a work setting

Design Philosophy

This programme is not about AI as magic. It is about thinking clearly with AI.

The AL cycle is central here: participants experience the gap, reflect on what changed, learn the framework, practise it, and then apply it to their own tasks. The debrief is where the real learning lands. That is where the structure becomes useful.

The focus is on impact, not just task completion. AI can help complete the task, but the human still has to shape the outcome, the context, and the value.
